MY CREDENTIALS:

Sharon Stein is a psychotherapist in private practice with more than 25 years of exprience. Sharon earned her degree from the University of Denver in 1973 andhas been licensed to practice psychotherapy since 1978. For 12 yeears Sharon was employed at The Children's Hospital in Denver as Chief of Social Work for the Department of Psychiatry there from 1980 to 1984. While at Children's she served on the faculty of the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center where she taught child diagnostics. Sharon was also on the faculty at The University of Denver where she supervised and trained graduate students. She was a member of the Interdisciplinary Training Committee in the Department of Psychiatry, where she taught theory and practice methods. Her other clinical duties included supervision of workers on the inpatient mental health service and heading up the supervised visitation service.
